hello.
i am ashamed to admit that i have been neglecting my dearly beloved dA. i do, however, have a damn good reason. i graduated in may, with a bachelor in fine arts // graphic design, and five days later... i got my first 'real' job ! I've been working for 360 Architecture for 2 months now, doing environmental graphic design. The architects design buildings and i design the building's visual aesthetic; from signage & wayfinding, to murals & exhibit installations. It's an amazing opportunity with an open, collaborative environment. There are five of us in the design group, so we all get the chance to work on pretty substantial stuff.
excuses aside, i have been working on a 'new' piece. it's relatively new, as i am redesigning an existing piece. it's much better... thats the thing about having a design job: every day, you're a better designer than you were a week ago. i hopefully have my first solo exhibit soon, and with a new studio on the way, i'll have plenty of room to make cool sh*t.
So, in a nutshell, more art arriving very soon...
love.
g.
